After coming to the lake for the last year and some change, we found ourselves always deeply regretting when it was time to go home. After discussing it between ourselves and finally with our children, we all agreed if we never wanted to leave, we should just stay. We decided to put the main house on the market as soon as the kids were out of school for the summer. Then corona virus hit. School has been cancelled and we took it as our sign to move now. (So if anyone needs a home in Jonesborough ours is on the market.)

We worked one weekend and completely cleared our lake lot so our new dock can be installed.

We will eventually have stone steps leading down to a pavilion.

We have also slowly been bringing over the bigger furniture that we intend to keep.

We are starting to get comfortable out here and look forward to our new journey in this gorgeous part of the world.
