Christmas Eve 2020 Update

Merry Christmas everyone. We have been making progress all over, but I haven’t had time to do any updates. Here are a few of the things we have accomplished lately.

We finally got the drywall hung in the master and green board in the master bath. I am currently trying to find a great tiler if anyone knows someone to finish the floors and shower. We were going to do it ourselves, but can’t seem to find the time with everything else going on.

Michael installed the cement board flooring in the master bath.

We have been slowly staining and sealing new hardwood doors throughout the house.

All of the doors still need trim.

The biggest progress has been in the basement.

We ripped out and reframed the stairs. The orientation changed to help the room flow better.
We also added a new window

Hopefully in another few weeks the master, master bath, and basement will all be finished!

We were able to move the hot water heater to the garage.
And framed the ceiling and a “mini attic” in the laundry room. Michael has big plans in here and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

We added a third shelf in the kitchen

Visitors won’t bang up their bumpers anymore! The cap has been dug out even with the driveway.

We got a real Christmas tree this year for the first time in years.

It’s starting to snow. Looks like 2020 is going to give us a white Christmas.
