Christmas at the Lake, Boat Parade Sequel, and an Exterior Renovation Begins.

We are all set for Christmas. These last few years have been hard for everyone and I am one of those people who pulls joy wherever I can get it! That means… I decorated for Christmas in early November this year.

I still need to get the garland around our loft area, but I am loving the 9ft slim tree. It fits so perfectly in our living room. Our wood stove still needs a new thimble so the fire you see is provided by some creative LED lights. No worries about heat too close to the tree this year. Once again our outside is a bit of a mess. The yard looks like a lumberyard right now as we get ready for the new deck to go on.

We can’t wait to entertain here soon.

Now that the concrete is in, we ordered all the materials for the new deck and our yard is covered in supplies.

To keep the holiday cheer going, we took our outside decor to the water this year. Last year we started a new tradition with a Christmas boat parade. Our only goal this year was to grow and we did by one boat! Enjoy the gorgeous pictures of the boats lit up. Consider joining us next year if you are nearby!

Ready to start the parade!

Construction on the deck will begin any day now. Maybe I will get a giant wreath hung out front for the holidays!
