The lake house has been painted! We are so thrilled with how it turned out. Here is a reminder of what we started with.

We visited our local Sherwin-Williams Store to select paint. We ended up delaying our paint project for a few weeks to wait on a great sale coming up.

You can go back to our previous post about selecting our paint colors. We chose Gale Force the blue in the top middle. Ibis white is going on all the trim except for the wood beams at the front of the house which are a dark brown called Caviar.

On Friday, the painters came to scrape the peeling paint and prime. They finished earlier than expected and began painting the blue. These guys were amazing! They worked all day Friday and Saturday in the hot sun and finished the whole project in two days. They had come a few days earlier to power wash the siding.
Are you ready to see the final results? Drum roll……

I absolutely love it. Hubby told the painters the only issue was that now our deck looks even worse. We are hoping to put on a brand new deck and install a stone patio very soon! I’m still looking for someone willing to get on that roof and add stone to the chimney if anyone has recommendations for us!
Erin, your cabin is gorgeous! All your hard work has paid off! Do you know of any other cabins (smaller is fine) that are for sale or rent for long term up your way? We may be selling our house soon and are looking at options! 😊
