I realized after adding the post about our exterior paint, that I never posted about how we finished the back of the house where we removed the Juliet balcony.

Debord construction peeled back the siding, added new OSB, house wrap, and installed new cedar.

Here is the back after our painters worked on it. The only part unfinished is the bedroom window trim.

Today, hubby and I (mostly hubby) installed gorgeous new exterior lights. We picked out these lights at Lowe’s.

Michael removed the old rusty gold lights. Here is the basement light to remind you what we started with.

We installed all the lights on the main level fairly easily.

The basement light was a little more difficult. One of the previous owners added the stone around the basement. When they did, they cemented the gold light in. Hubby had to chisel away some of the concrete mix and stone to make room for a block that would push the light plate forward enough to attach our much larger lights.

Two more pictures to show our lighting at night and during the day.

We are gaining momentum now. Drywall contractors are coming this week to quote our master bedroom and we have big plans for our renovation that we will share soon!
I love it. What color is the paint?
