Fall Accomplishments

My parents helped us finish up the electrical for outside flood lights, a new AC unit, and other outlets that had to be moved for the new layout.

We have given up on getting a drywall team upstairs. The quotes are either outrageously high or we never hear back. Therefore, it is slow going, but we are continuing ourselves.

We finally have the subfloor back in.
The ceiling is in.
And we have been working our way down.
We are also installing green board in the new bathroom.
We had to reframe the bathroom wall where we ripped out the old knee wall. A separate AC unit will be installed upstairs and then we will hopefully be able to finish the master bedroom and bathroom by next week at the latest,
In the downstairs bedroom closets we installed closet systems and automatic overhead lights
We also installed fans in the kids rooms.
Hubby removed the dated gold fan in the main living area.
Then we rented a 16 foot ladder to install the replacement.
I want to paint the blades bronze to match our other fixtures,
but this moves air really well and fits the space nicely.
A while back Michael cut these gorgeous slabs of wood to make open shelving in the kitchen.
We think we will do one more shelf and then backsplash and kitchen will be complete.
Until it is all done, we are enjoying the gorgeous colors of fall on the lake!
